Here's the official directed by Charles Bergof Bergquist of Tycho 's superb single "Ascension." The video clip works perfectly with the song, transporting all the imaginary ambiance through strands of windblown hair and rolling waves in the dunes. "Ascension" is taken from San Francisco producer 2011 album, Dive, which is still available on iTunes . Excellent.
Back in 2011 when Scott Hansen, the man behind the design/graphical design blog ISO50 , came out with an album under the name Tycho we were skeptical but his smooth and accessible sem-ambient/chill tunes won us over , and then i somehow forgot about it...until now, where he gives us the video for "Ascension", which looks like the beautiful video version of the cover art.
