Jay Farrar Memoir Due in March Jay Farrar of Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt/New Multitudes fame has written a memoir, Falling Cars and Junkyard Dogs due in stores this spring.  Described as a collection of "beautifully crafted autobiographical vignettes", one can only hope for some pretty cool tales about the ins and outs of some bands that have been indie rock mainstays.   As far as I am concerned, there aren't enough well written books about this particular walk of life.   I'm looking forward to what I have a feeling will be a great read.
