Unknown Mortal Orchestra released their psychedelic-r&b album II last month via Jagjaguwar.  The last music video we got from UMO was for "So Good At Being In Trouble" and it had McLovin', so that was pretty cool! I'm not certain who directed this music video that we have (below, duh) for Unknown Mortal Orchestra's wonderful "Swim And Sleep (Like A Shark)". Whoever did, good job! Unknown Mortal Orchestra take to puppets in the video for their single "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)", but instead of keeping things PG they quickly establish it as NSFW affair. I'm not sure if you'll see a stranger music video than this in the month of March. Unknown Mortal Orchestra has dropped some visuals for the track "Swim and Sleep (Like A Shark)," which is a cut off the band's latest record, II . The video takes no time in establishing itself with puppet masturbation, therapy sessions, personal anguish, and more puppet masturbation. While there's an element of sadness to the main character's emotional problems, his, uh, "sickness" leads to happiness in a pretty hilarious ending. So when I got the email about this, I thought "Hey, I think I already posted a video for this song! Am I crazy?!?!" Turns out I just posted the mp3 embedded inside a youtube video thus only making me partially crazy, but not for anything that has to do with this song and or video. I am crazy because of the voices in my head telling me how fancy a lady I am. BUT... whomever made this video IS crazy because of this video. It's a crazy video.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra 's excellent second album,  II , had a particularly excellent single in  "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark),"   which now in turn has an excellent video. As you can see, it's all a matter of excellence when it comes to UMO. The slightly-NSFW video, all done with puppets, follows a character scarred by being caught pleasuring himself through his misfortunes until the tables turn.
