To sum up five heavyweight contenders by Justin & Scott is by no petit minded feat, but in the hands of Aerialnoise you can rest assured that if there is any rabble-rousing or confrontational measures taken, then we'll be sure to get out the old school rulers out first, bend any bad boys or bad girls over.. and proceed on giving them one firm kick on their big n' broad backsides (+ pretty bum bums ...) Pleasantries done, The Soundmen extend the butterfly-in-stomach-excitemen t that one more time ... Party all night and party [...]

Like the title says. A mix for a friend. Bachelorette , Antwon , Grimes , and a bunch of songs that have either already made it on to monthly mixes, or probably will be in the near future. Stream it on 8tracks: http://8tracks.com/topomodesto /mix-for-lena [ cover art by Moebius (AKA Jean Giraud) ]

I'm officially not doing an albums of the year list. There have been so few that I wholeheartedly enjoy, I'd have to do a top 10 that starts at 8. But that is not to say that there wasn't some exceptional new music this year. Click HERE for my favorite tracks from 2011. I'm hoping that 2012 will pick up the pace, but if not, I'll just further recede into the vintage music that I love so much. I hope you enjoy listening to the mixes as much as I like making them. the ice cream dripping on your chin, lick it clean, my favourite flavor ♫ Unouomedude - Frequency (The Soundmen Remix) What does a dude from Florida with a funny moniker (if you can decipher it) and a fuzzy groover do with his jam? Get The Soundmen on the case to slap it around a bit and shape it into a swagger wolf! Stutter bleeps and a crisper drum beat melt together like a hot quesadilla of fancy footwork. Play it loud on NYE to figure out what the hell that [...]

The Soundmen set to close out this year in big fashion. Scott and Justin have remixed Jacksonville's Unouomedude' s summery jam "Frequency", into a glitchy, bombastic, dance floor approved effort. This would be perfect for all of those late night partygoers looking for some howling effects to accompany their night. Unouomedude - Frequency (The Soundmen Remix) by The Soundmen

KickKickSnare favorites The Soundmen are at it again. They have lovingly reworked Unouomedude 's warm and hazy summer soaked song ' Frequency ' into something completely amazing. The Soundmen took a risk in clearing away the haze of sound and sonic clutter that really made you yearn for the sunlit and hungover hazy days of summer, but it was clearing this clutter that really made the melody stand out and take charge. Clearing clutter is just the tip of what they did, adding in strong percussion and bright twinkling synths evoke a lighter, brighter feeling of summer. [...]

Unouomedude - "Frequency" I love this new single from Unouomedude , which is out now on Old Flame Records .

Like any good remix, Low Sea keep the spirit of the original "Frequency" but alter the tone. It falls somewhere in between the lazy carelessness of the original and Uno's own sleek, but unnerving rework. An added sense of urgency purveys the mix, but its just enough make you want to dance, and not just twitch. Frequency (Low Sea Remix) by low_sea Listen to Frequency and Frequency II here .

Unouomedude has been a kid on our radar for a while now, his casual and natural reinvigoration of the slacker rock formula was, and still is, a much needed breath of fresh air. So far his music has been fairly untouched in terms of remixes. In a sense, it stands to reason; his music isn't exactly in a region that inspires a need for reinvention, after all it's doing most of that itself. But then in swooped Irish duo Low Sea who did their very best to prove me wrong. The [...]
Download Unouomedude's covers of the themes from Daria, Pepper Ann, Malcolm in the Middle, and more!

I've loved unouomedude for a long while now, so anytime he's got anything new, I'm always interested. This is no exception- he put out a download link for a collection of theme song covers, which is brilliant! Partly because I know the words to most of the songs.. my favorite cover is Pepper Anne, "marchin' in her own parade, she's like one in a mill" ha! Perfect. In an interview with Rebel magazine he said, "I like to think about my memories from 1995-2004. I was watching some shows [...]

Unouomedude , pronounced "you-know-you-owe-me-dude," is an up-and-coming solo artist hailing from Jacksonville, Florida. Since 2007, Uno has written and produced over 20 songs from the comfort of his own home. In 2010, Uno made his musical debut with the release of Marsh , a five-track, free-to-download EP set to the theme of his past dreams and memories. Marsh 's unique mix of guitars, bass and synthesizers creates a soothing and almost mysterious sound that can be almost related to Blackbird Blackbird and Washed Out . Earlier this year, Pitchfork [...]

Raise your right hand in the air, put your left hand over your heart and repeat after me: "I love Indie Rock." If Indie Rock (particularly new Indie Rock) is something that truly tickles your pickle, then The Indie Sabbath has a present in store for you that will stimulate your senses in a new and tantalizing way every week. Sometimes we need a break from the everyday grind - the worship of a job you hate, your school which you despise and all those other systematic functions our society has been dragged in to. Let [...]

Yunō is the side project of summer anthem virtuoso Unouomedude and witnesses him exploring a more psychedelic aspect to his creational output. Debut track Disney World is solely instrumental, and attempts to recreate a repetitive dream experienced by the protagonist. Comprised largely of sampled vocals and looped synths, Yunō constructs a lucid yet ambiguous world within which the track gyrates. Download Disney World below and keep an eye out for future releases.

London based street wear label, Forty Ounce Clothing , have just released a subtly homoerotic promotional video for their stunning new summer range. Apart from featuring some bros doing some mildly homoerotic shit, (smiling, looking happy, gently frolicking), it also features the new Tees on offer. Check out the video below, and bare in mind that the clothing is probably never going to look as good on you. The video also features a track from CITR bro UNOUOMEDUDE , a cover of the Coma Cinema track, 'Her Sinking Sun'. [...]
