Hey guys hows it going? That's really cool! I'm glad everything is going well for you too! Anyway we put a quarter's worth of songs on a Spotify playlist again and we wanted to share it with you. You don't have to listen to it if you don't want to! We understand you have a lot on your plate! Cheddar doesn't churn itself, so they say in America. Anyone else really psyched on The Men's new album? Anyway there's some songs in the footer too. See you next month. CLICK THAT —–> What We Hear: March 2013 (Fuzztank.com) [...]

Here is the next NOT POSTED mix. Listen. Downloadables: Space Cadet (mp3) by Paint Fumes We Act (mp3) by bennio qwerty [d/l EP @ bennioqwerty.bandcamp.com ] V.Card (Demo) [...]

It's absurd and insane and great that My Bloody Valentine, out of the releasing new albums game for a solid 22 years, sneak attacked their fans with a new album that was actually worth the wait. Whatever that means. It's good though! And you can get it free pretty much anywhere, so do that. Though Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Ruban Nielson and crew waited only 2 years to release themselves a new album, the progression in sound and songwriting ability is very noticeable It's groovy, it's funky, it's hazy, and it's a little sad. One of the early year's best, we think. [...]

Say their name five times fast. Or, well, once. Saddle Creek , 2013 6.2 / 10 I try to avoid sounding presumptuous and condescending, but stuff like this is hard to approach on its own terms. To recap: UUVVWWZ (pronounced “double U, double V, double W, Z”) [...]

by st. perry Kelly green has far and away been my favorite color for most of my life and cups are in my top 100 inventions of all time. So it goes without saying that I enjoy St. Patrick's Day . Here's a St. Patty's sampler inspired by the color green and all its associated objects.. Artist: [...]

Filed under: Concerts and Tours Nebraska quartet UUVVWWZ (pronounced duhb-uhl-yoo-duhb-uhl-vee-duhb -uhl-duhb-uhl-yoo-zee) describe themselves as a rare bird. With a tongue twister of a name and a hard-to-pin-down sound, the experimental and blues (ish) band has been compared to Deerhoof , Captain Beefheart and Lydia Lunch . Spinner spoke with guitarist Jim Schroeder and lead singer Teal Gardner on how their [...]

Sleigh Bells - “Crown on the Ground” There a bit of vintage Yeah Yeah Yeahs in the Sleigh Bells’ dynamic--the sense that the duo’s light pop elements are floating around savage guitar and beat detonations, casually avoiding destruction at every turn. (All the better since the Yeahs don’t really do that sort of thing anymore.) There are marked differences too, of course. Alexis Krauss’ delivery is much more hip-hop informed, her strut not at all wrapped up in ghosts of post-punk rebellion. And you can’t underestimate the intrigue [...]

UUVVWWZ - Castle UUVVWWZ are a four-piece from Lincoln, Nebraska, who aren't sure what type of music they make, who their influences are, or even what their name means - and their songs reflect that uncertainty, not quite going where you expect them to. Best to give this one a play and decide for yourself. Their self-titled album is out now on Saddle Creek. Buy MySpace Band blog Photo by [...]

DFRNT - Metafiction (On The Edge, 2009) Daha önceleri kendi plak şirketi Echodub'dan birkaç parça yayınlayan DFRNT veya nam-ı diğer Alex C. Dubstep'in artık iyice Elektronik Müzik dünyasındaki yerini sağlamlaştırmasını takiben böyle isimlerin daha da fazlalaşacağı aşikar. Bunun yanında birçoğu hızla Dubstep'i farklı türlerle yakınlaştırıyor. DFRNT de zaten bu konuda bir örnek. Deep Dubstep yapıyor diyebiliriz [...]
