Since last summer, our Amrit Singh has been putting together an independent short film called Dosa Hunt , with Das Racist's Himanshu Suri and Ashok Kondabolu, Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij, Yeasayer's Anand Wilder, Neon Indian's Alan Palomo, and NYC jazz stalwart Vijay Iyer. Vampire Weekend has had their songs in commercials before, but now it seems like their hit song "Campus" was used to serve as 'exciting background music' for the trailer to The Lorax , which I believe is one of those Dr. Seuss books that is about kids doing drugs or having sex, or something.
