Every blue moon there is a collaboration that just makes sense and the music gods rejoice in their meeting of the minds. In a shrewd move by Modular Van She are re-releasing their best track to date Kelly with a stack of remixes. When I first heard about this I thought it was a pretty cynical thing to do for a company who've had a few losses over the last couple of years. It's a great track but is this really necessary? Surely they could invest that cash in a new act, help buy back some of the Bumblebeez gear from the meth heads who stole it or throw another half million bucks at the Avalanches new album [...]

My guess is that you've heard of Fred Falke. The remix of PNAU's Embrace he did with miami horror blew up this summer. He's been around for a while. He's another great French electro producer. He and Alan Braxe worked together for a long time and put out some great stuff. The demand for Falke's music has grown quite a bit. His Synths are honestly perfect. I remember when I first heard Van She's signature tune, Kelly. I was pretty stoked.
