The EP is scheduled to drop on Famalam Records next month, in May and features remixes by Bella Boo, Cristian Dinamarca, Spoek Mathambo, Black Belt Jones and the biggest track off the release is the remix of 'Goodah', featuring rappers form all the corners of the world: Jasmine Solano, Zuzuka Poderosa, Lady Chann & Nadia Nair. So there's a Swedish sister duo named VAZ who reaches into their West Aftrican roots to create complex pop music. Intrigued? Yeah, I thought so. Bombastic tribal percussion and intense rhythms are the immediate ear grabber. The raw, layered vocals and memorable choruses are added bonuses. Pair it all with a highly stylized video, and VAZ has a hit on their hands with their latest single, "Let It Rest". MUSIC REVIEW: Males from London, England play some pretty heavy sludgy shit. In the vain of Queens of the Stone Age, Big Business, Karp and Hawkwind. For a fuzzy trio they sound pretty huge and fuzzy and we think you should check them out. My car broke down and I was living under an overpass in East LA. I had been listening to Vaz’s new record “Chartreuse Bull” all week through the tinny speakers of my computer because my super expensive “review writing” headphones were back in my SRO in Chinatown.
