The "supergroup" reformed for a short four song set at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA for a tribute concert in honor of award winning composer John O'Brien. The band, which included the return of frontman Scott Weiland, played the songs "Sucker Train Blues, "She Builds Quick Machines," "Slither" and a cover of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here." As previously reported, the five principal members of Velvet Revolver - Scott Weiland, Slash, Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum, and Dave Kushner - reunited in Hollywood last night for their first performance together in four years. On Thursday, January 12th, Scott Weiland will reunite with Velvet Revolver for a one-off performance at Love You Madly: A Concert for John O'Brien (via Blabbermouth ).
