Tie for first place this week. The rainbow light in Lightships' memories is equivalent to the fantastic art directions of Sweden's Heart-Sick Groans. Veronica Falls, Echo Lake, Novella, Savages and now Toy round out a group of U.K.-based bands that I can't seem to stop thinking about. There will inevitably be a heavy round of shoegaze tags and comparisons after this song gets around in the U.S. press, but doesn't it also remind you of R.E.M.?
