After a dose of hype and a few pop singles, Blouse has released their self-titled debut on Captured Tracks . The dream-pop group shares many similarities with their label mates; fans of Craft Spells and Wild Nothing should definitely appreciate their aesthetic. It's slightly disappointing that they left their catchy single "Shadow" off the album, but this LP should provide other staple tunes. Stream lead single "Videotapes" above.

There are a lot of bands out there flirting with the sound of a particular genre that reached its peak in the mid-1990s, but this Portland-based trio are on to something, or they have access to better drugs. In the Summer of 2010, Charlie Hilton, Patrick Adams and Jacob Portrait began recording music in a warehouse in Portland, Oregon. After releasing two demo tracks, which were picked up and released by labels, Blouse is set to release it's debut self-titled full length album on November 1st.
