Ça débite, ça agresse, on aime.

Mix Monday is back and we've got a gnarly Vacay exclusive from our favorite villain/hero duo, DIGIRAATII . The mix is "chock full of new DIGIRAATII material, as well as dubplates from around the world that have been given to [them] by all of our [their] uber famous producer friends lol." It also includes some tunes from fellow Killpopers Crizzly, Lucky Date, Gosteffects, Midnight Conspiracy, and Kids At The Bar. Our little tutorial in bass music, makes a trek from 128 BPM all the way up to about 174 before it finds it's final resting [...]

I never thought I'd be agreeing with The Daily Telegraph about Grime, but apparently they know their stuff when it comes to Virus Syndicate . Going so far as to describe them as "some of the tautest British MC-ing since the first Dizzee Rascal Album", I'd go a step further. If you heard the recent track I posted ('Need U' - a collaboration with Kastle), you'll also know they have a knack for teaming up with some of the most inventive producers going. So it'll come as no surprise that this new track sees another Seclusiasis [...]

I held off posting this one for a little bit because I wasn't sure if I liked it, but its really grown on me over the past few days so I've decided I need to share it. You can check out the rest of the EP at Beatport (The Bare remix is also pretty dope). Virus Syndicate - Talk To Frank (J.Rabbit Remix) (320) Tracklist 1. Virus Syndicate – Talk To Frank 2. Virus Syndicate – Talk To Frank (Bare Remix) 3. Virus Syndicate – [...]

Tonight's installment of Get Low during Shake at the Vagabond will be invaded by Brits and their bloody "grime". MRK1 will be accompanying the Virus Syndicate collective alongside Get Low resident DJs Juan BassHead, Wreck, Dean, Ashworth, and MCs Jumanji and The Nome. The groups musical styling is a sort of mish-mash between dance hall, dubstep and gangsta rap, producing incredibly high energy, low bass dance tracks that are somewhat reminiscent of Brazil's balle funk sound, but peppered with that dirty UK feel. What promises to be an exciting night starts [...]

Yeah I think we all heard it, but have you heard the Virus Syndicate version? This comes pretty convenient as the Top Billin & Virus Syndicate single 'Poppin Bottles' drops soon... There's a remix from the Hench badboy Jakes too + some other suprise remixes. Keep and eye on that, nothing but smashers on that release. But in the meanwhile... The above is a video I took two nights ago at Dub The Halls in Atlanta. This dance crew goes by Remote Kontrol, and they made a special guest appearance in between Plastician and Virus Syndicate. Overall the event was a blast. It was also the largest dubstep event ever to be held in Atlanta. My videos are taking forever to upload so I'll just go one by one with reviews. Zeds Dead opened and I got to the venue as they were exiting the stage (big loss on my part). Everyone I talked to at the venue [...]

Heavyfeet just launched their new label 'Stamp Beats' yesterday. The first release features Virus Syndicate on vocals and its a hybrid style of hiphop/crunk. The remixes are now out at beatport , one by Heavyfeet themselves (house), one by AC Slater (dubstep), and they're both dancefloor bangers. By now, those of you with a penchant for gnarly basslines and swaggering bruiser beats may well have picked themselves up a copy of the new Timestretch EP from the West Coast master of such styles Bassnectar , which was due out this week but dropped early as it escaped from the Beatport cage like the Kracken in Clash Of The Titans. If you haven't got a copy then read no further, run over to here now and grab it (along with special DJ tools, bonus tracks, [...]
