I found these two tracks by German based (but Irish/English) electronic duo VNV Nation in the mailbox this morning. For whatever reason I expected the tracks to be far more "sterile", monotonous and industrial sounding than they turned out to be (if you check out the "extra track" Cold , you probably understand my expectations). Instead they are lively (despite the insisting beats), and surprisingly catchy and enjoyable, with lots of potential to become dancefloor fillers. I'm a festival guy. I like the looseness and the non structured nature of the weekend. I completely escaping for a weekend, away from civilization and computers, spending time with people I don't usually get to see for such a laid back block of time.
