Voicst – A Tale of two Devils. Nichts neues (aber gutes) aus dem Westen. Voicst sind, wie schon einmal erwähnt , aus den Niederlanden , einem Land, das nicht gerade berühmt ist für seine Indierockszene. Vielleicht sind die drei Amsterdamer Tjeerd, Sven und Joppe deswegen wie schon bei ihrem Erstling 11-11 und wie so viele andere Bands auch nach New York gefahren, um A Tale of Two Devils aufzunehmen. Herausgekommen ist ein durchaus gutes Album. Zwar meint man häufiger, die Musik schon einmal gehört zu haben, aber die heutige popmusik lebt eben von Zitation und Referenzen - zumindest so lange eine Band [...]

Die Niederlande haben ja in den letzten Jahren wenig gute Musik hervorgebracht. Das könnte sich mit Voicst, deren 2008er Album in kürze auch in Deutschland erscheint (und auch hier noch besprochen wird. nur so viel schon jetzt: es ist ziemlich gut), ändern.
