As much as I'd hope for a successful opening weekend, John Carter fell short of that. John Carter only pulled in a 30 Million estimated receipts for the weekend, while Lorax remained in top position with 39 Million. Its a real shame too, not for Lorax, but for Carter. Originally released in Australia late 2011, the album, Vows , will have its proper U.S. release on May 22, 2012.
