After being featured on BBC Radio 1 just weeks ago, Australian producer John Walden has been back in the studio hammering out beats. Taking a trip through memory lane, Walden chose the timeless Mario theme song to put his electro spin on. The princess would be happy with the heavy bassline and synths that ride the line between electro and dubstep. Walden's newest track boasts a remarkably well-developed sound, that starts off with deamau5-esque tones, transitions into the highly recognizable theme and works its way into bouncy electronic tones. We've been digging the sounds from Walden lately, and he's just posted a brand new hour-long set on his SoundCloud. If you're not familiar with his music this could be the perfect opportunity to hear his sound, as its full of original tracks. He opens with a tantalizingly-titled ID track, and from there it's a solid blend of melodic-electro house.
