Not too long after Coachella and the Pitchfork Music Festival revealed parts of their official 2010 lineups, Manchester, Tennessee's four-day Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is doing the same. Announced throughout the day (one act every six minutes) via the festival's Myspace , this year's lineup (as of now) includes several large acts including Jay-Z , Phoenix and The Flaming Lips performing Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon . Several other acts include Weezer , Wale , [...]
A little over a month after we've all let X.O. 's sizzling debut full-length One.One.Ten sink in, Studio43 drops the video for the lead single, "Take Home." This smooth, thugged out love song gets some assistance from the DMV's own "Radio" Raheem DeVaughn on the hook, and who a lot of you might recognize from Ghostface's last album . X.O. and Raheem spend the video out at the club, serenading their ladies from the VIP lounge. In other news, Wale gets a little help from Tabi Bonney on the exclusive [...]
Since the state still owns Radric Davis ' ass, Wale gets to keep all the pretty girls for himself as Go-Go gets a much needed national boost with the second single from Attention Deficit . Not that Gucci's absence is a bad thing since a few models take over his camera time during his 1:20 or so. Lots of bobs, weaves and lip gloss opposed to ashy knuckles, chapped lips and "Lemonade" on the dientes. Maybe now, with a little push from the 106 & Park [...]

D.C. rapper Wale serves up two new music videos this week, for "Pretty Girls" and "My Sweetie." Chris Robinson—who, amongst other things, shot the clip for Jordin Sparks' "No Air"—directed "Pretty Girls." Incarcerated MC Gucci Mane also features on the song (though, obviously, not in the video). The second clip, "My Sweetie," was directed by tabi Bonney. Both look like they were shot on a shoestring budget—but, as the one tune's title suggests, contain no shortage of pretty girls. Head below the jump to catch Wale's double feature! For us, "Pretty Girls" [...]
Grammy winning producer/musician Mark Ronson recently revealed details about his upcoming studio album, The Business , to NME . So what can we expect? For one thing, there will be lots of guests. Over the years, Ronson has been continually tapped to produce high-profile albums, including recent work with Duran Duran, Wale, Adele, Daniel Merriweather, Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, and the Kaiser Chiefs. That trend will continue on his next full-length effort, as Ronson is currently working on new material with Dave McCabe of The Zutons and Nick Hodgson of Kaiser Chief. Other collaborators will include [...]
Wale was on a rampage yesterday and laced us with not one but two videos off of his album Attention: Deficit. If you remember correctly, "My Sweetie" was a bonus song on the digital album and was produced by the talented Apple Juice Kid. The song is meant to convey that African party feel and [...]

Here are a couple of new videos from Wale. The video for the second single off Attention Deficit , 'Pretty Girls' features cameos from Clinton Portis, Tristan Wilds, Curren$y, Ray Rice and was directed by Chris Robinson. The video for Wale's 'My Sweetie', a bonus track off Attention Deficit , was directed by his friend and fellow DC artist Tabi Bonney. Well, this should be fun. The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has proved to be quite the epic annual event. For its 2010 edition, the festival organizers have decided to make the lineup announcement equally epic, so for the next 24 hours or so we'll be glued to our computer screens waiting to see who will be hitting Manchester, Tennessee from June 10-13. As previously mentioned, the lineup announcement will work something like this. Unlike previous announcements, the 2010 bill will not be unveiled all at once, but rather throughout the day, with the goal being [...]
Wale - My Sweetie (directed by tabi Bonney) from tabi Bonney on Vimeo . I'm so glad this song got a video. This is absolutely one of my favorite Wale songs. I remember my first listen - that bass line fish hooked my lip and pulled me towards the sun. It's got such a feel-good influence and I believe Wale sounds best over these live, energetic beats. Saw it at The Maguire Pigeons and Planes

Wale gets some mad hate on Twitter right now, it's like a bit out of proportion really as the 'Pretty Girls'-video shows more diversity than most urban music videos... However, here's the official video for 'My Sweetie', directed by Tabi Bonney: Wale - 'My Sweetie' (prod. by Apple Juice Kid) zShare

Yesterday Wale attended the party thrown to celebrate Lil Wayne's last day in freedom for some time and due to jail time, Gucci Mane does not appear in this, the official video for Wale's 'Pretty Girls', the latest single off his debut album "Attention: Deficit". The video is directed by directed by Chris Robinson and has caused a mad stir regarding who is a pretty girl and who isn't: Remember, the beauty is in the eye of the beholder... [...]

Andrew Clark and Quix have given Wale's Good Girls the remix treatment and I've got to say I absolutely love it. They've taken a pretty low-key Wale tune, added a host of new ingredients and it's resulted in incredibly tasty track. Here's a cool project. Hi-Def takes MJ and links him up with artists like Wale and Wiz Khalifa on some dope ass beats. Minus the tags on the tracks, this EP is original and hot as sh*t.
