The venerable German music label Kompakt is recognized by many for their keen eye for boundary-pushing acts and electro-pop duo Walls are no exception. Last year's sophomore record, Coracle , is demonstrative of each member's eclectic musical backgrounds and tastes and somehow manages to paint an abstract picture of the collision of two eccentric minds. Fittingly, the music video for the record's opener, "Into Our Midst" falls into 'kooky' territory as well; archival footage of a pastry production line is looped over the sparse, house/techno-driven beat.
