Ernest Greene, a.k.a. Washed Out is back with a new album titled Paracosm . If you're wondering what the hell a paracosm is, it's a detailed imaginary world, or fantasy world. So think Game Of Thrones/Lord Of The Rings. It will come out August 13 via Sub Pop . The announcement came with a trailer video with some damn cool imagery to go with it. Washed Out returns, announcing the follow-up to his 2011 debut album Within and Without . Titled Paracosm , the sophomore effort will see the chillwave artist shifting the boundaries of the genre he helped define. Using more than 50 different instruments, along with numerous samples, he looks to create something new and refreshing. It's been a while since we've heard anything from Ernest Greene, the gloopy Georgia-based synth auteur who records as Washed Out.
