On New Year’s Eve 1974, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac . This solidified a lineup of musicians that would become one of the most enduring pop ensembles of all time, but that was only one incarnation of Fleetwood Mac. Ernest Greene's chillwave project Washed Out has found a great deal of success in the last year or so, having released a studio LP and completing his first headlining tour earlier this year. Now, Greene is looking to expand his tour schedule with a slew of dates in September and October. Starting on September 16th, Washed Out will tour across Canada and the U.S., with the tour wrapping up in Baton Rouge on October 8th. Included in his itinerary are eight shows opening for The Shins . On the heals of a rather successful cross country canvassing this past spring, along with performances at a number of this summer's largest music festivals including Lollapalooza and Outside Lands, Washed Out now announces a fresh set of tour dates for Fall 2012. The journey kicks off at Mercy Lounge in Nashville, TN on September 16th and runs through mid October with a final show in Baton Rouge, LA. Following a successful headlining tour (his first), Washed Out' s Ernest Greene has scheduled another leg of dates in the fall. It's been three plus days since Outside Lands came to an end and i've needed every minute of it to fully recover.  This was my first legitimate music festival and it was a lot to take in.  With that said, I would do it all over again this weekend if I could.  I had so much fun last weekend, not even the total lack of sleep, the nightly struggles of finding my way home, the $9 beers, or the bird that shat in my eye Friday night will keep me [...]
