This is an interesting weekend festival taking place August 8-9 in Elanor Tinsley Park in Houston, TX, featuring Of Montreal, Broken Social Scene, What Made Milwaukee Famous and Explosions in the Sky, among others. Lineup looks cool, but Houston in August is literally the worst place on the entire earth outside of an active war zone. But, tickets are super cheap ($12 for the weekend?!) so it's a tradeoff. The first time you listen to Fast Song by The Watermarks , there is a moment right near the start where you think it's all going to go horribly wrong.
