We Are Animal are releasing their debut album 'Idolise' very soon. It's a good listen. Lot's of strong riffs, fuzzed electronic interludes and husky welsh lyrics. I rate it. If you haven't heard them and want a comparison, the band lay somewhere between The Walkmen and Liars. A good combo in any case. Welsh 5 piece band We Are Animal , are releasing their debut album "Idolise" in October 25th. On their latest single Black Magic (whose video was release Sept 13th) We Are Animal bring out a punk-esk sound, along the lines of LCD, intertwined with dark harmony voices distorted by echoes, the best part is that the chorus is bound to get stuck in your head for hours, for me the line " I see the movement in your eyes" was what kept repeating in my head, it kind of brings me back to 05 when we had amazing bands [...]
