Each year the SXSW torrent provides this blog with about a dozen fantastic tunes. To get to that point however there are about a thousand mp3s to trawl through. While this might be as tempting as a ramble on hot coals for most it really puts the pep in our step. WFtE is a London-based duo consisting of the man-and-woman team of Wendy Rae Fowler, who dabbles in surf rock, and Richard File of trip hop's UNKLE. We Fell To Earth is the new project from Richard File (ex- UNKLE ) and Wendy Rae Fowler who has worked with Mark Lanegan and Queens Of The Stone Age . Richard File sprang damals bei UNKLE als Ersatz für DJ Shadow ein. Nun hat er mit QOTSA- und Mark Lanegan-Kollaborateurin Wendy Rae das Duo We Fell To Earth gegründet.
