We're gonna stay on this 90s hangover tip for a minute. While I'm a fan of the majority of the Ween output, it's the early lo-fi stuff through The Mollusk that I return to on the regular. Dean and Gene were clearly inspired by, and doing it for, the Boognish. That and several half dozen [...]

Why: They haven't released a new record since 20082s La Cucaracha , but are hitting the road anyways. Why? Probably because they feel like it. A quote from my sister over the weekend pretty much sums up how I feel about this year's Bonnaroo experience: "I'm sad it's over, but am so happy it happened." The name says it all. What does Bonnaroo mean, anyway? It means "a really good time." Thanks Wikipedia! Overall, I may have [...]

"I keep getting older, and [it] stays the same age." [For those indie rockers who made fun of the hippies coming here in 2002] Borrowing a classic line from Dazed & Confused seemed appropriate for the final Bonnaroo journal entry of the year. I've got to admit, it's been a mind-blowing experience to see how Bonnaroo, as a festival, has grown but still manages to stay the 'same age', so to speak. I've been attending the festival since its inception and at the time I was [...]

Photography by my grandma... We had a lot of fun this week, don't you think? We shared, we laughed, we cried, we poked fun (at me), but in the end, we found that we are what we are. We are only a culmination of our genetics & our environment, and the way our genetics interprets what's happening in that environment. That's it. There are no right or wrong answers, no wrong things to like, and certainly nothing to be embarrassed over. We all go through our phases, love them or hate them we all did the things we [...]
