Sofia Talvik live in Holly Springs Last night I had the great experience to play at the Holly Springs Cultural Center. I was invited by The Swedish Consulate of Raleigh, SACC and SWEA and the night was a total hit. For example in Killing Time Is Murder there's a pretty dark, dirty and naughty atmosphere about it. The song comes off their self-titled debut that was released last October. Whitehorse is the musical collaboration between Canadians Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet. Married in real life, the couple have created an excellent collection of songs on their self-titled release on Six Shooter Records . The songs are steeped in Americana, ala The Civil Wars, yet are coupled with an upbeat rock sensibility.
