Another robbery in Buenos Aires, and more breaking bad news on Facebook. If you didn't hear it first, chances are you heard it first on Facebook, or Twitter, both of which do a better job of getting stories out there fast than the network news programs or any major-city daily newspaper these days. They're where the [...]

You know how every DJ needs to have a couple of personal, secret gems that they keep to themselves? If you're playing music for a crowd, you need to be able to pull out that unpredictable, undeniable smash that has everyone losing their shit. I wasn't searching whatsoever, but one of these tracks managed to find me last night. For some reason unknown, I just can't keep this one to myself. Alesso's version of "Good Love" is nearly flawless - but when you mix in a little Whitney Houston to PERFECTION, it legitimately can not be beaten. Toss this smack [...]
Here is the official poster for the forthcoming movie "Sparkle" which stars the late Whitney Houston, Idol winner Jordin Sparks and Derek Luke. The glamorous poster features a shadowy photo of Sparks in a glittery red dress holding a mic with the pics of the other actors lined up below. Jordin Sparks makes quite a powerful first impression on the poster for upcoming movie musical Sparkle , in theaters August 17. Though the Idol champ, wearing a glittering red gown while striking a dramatic pose, is the main focus here, photos featuring Cee Lo Green and Whitney Houston are also featured on the poster. Jordin will make her feature film debut in the movie, while Houston, who passed away in February, will make her last. See the full poster below.

Glee 's covers from their upcoming Whitney Houston tribute episode have found their way online, and for the most part, they're all a treat: Chris Colfer does a fabulous job in his head voice for "I Have Nothing", and Naya Rivera and Heather Morris duet on a pumped-up, modernized version of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)". Other tracks include "So Emotional", "Saving All My Love [...]

Brittany (Heather Morris) - FOX On Tuesday, April 24, Glee will pay tribute to the late great Whitney Houston by packing their hour-long Dance With Somebody episode with covers of some of her greatest hits. The episode will find members of the New Directions taking on songs like "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," "My Love Is Your Love," "Saving All My Love For You," and "So Emotional." But it's the beautiful acapella rendition of 'How Will I Know," performed by Mercedes, Santana, Kurt, and Rachel, that really shines brightest. Wondering [...]

Although Swedish duo Üni Foreman comprising Anna Rauhala and Signe Gustafsson profess a love for everything from Whitney Houston to J Dilla, Cooper more realistically sounds like slackened BRAIDS contused by a contagious rhythmic brutality. And whilst the moniker may evoke blurred images of the amicable yet quietly irate, rotund worker who unlocks the doors of bladdered students to the heinous cesspits they inhabit, their educationally carefree lo-fi intimates they'd be the ones stumbling homeward in gradually sobering slalom come sunrise, blonde locks perfumed with the stench of a couple packs of Winston Reds with lungs blackened and [...]

For "So Hard To Breathe", the latest track to surface from B.o.B 's sophomore album Strange Clouds (out May 1), the Atlanta rapper has offered up an intense video that shows various women slipping underwater in a bathtub and struggling to breathe. The song itself, which finds Bobby Ray rapping about the trappings of fame and not being able to "come up for air," is unique in that it's packed with guitars and real drums. All that aside, we will mention that the whole thing is kind of creepy, given the (unintentional?) visual [...]

This one could rattle some feathers, but its a legitimate question to ask. Whose vocals sets you free and makes you float across the sky, to put it simply. We are talking vocalists here, not divas or female pop icons (If I get a Madonna imma...). For us, it's Mariah Carey (of coursies), Whitney Houston, Brandy, Heather Small, Sarah McLachlan, Jill Scott, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Shaznay Lewis, Phyllis Hyman and (maybe) Christina Aguilera. Who are your favorite female vocalists of all-time? Leave your answer in the comments section below! [...]

The best kept secret in the music industry is that pop divas, like fine wines and British actors, only get better with age. So far this year we've seen Madonna score her eighth Billboard chart-topping album (however short-lived), Jennifer Lopez storm the iTunes chart with " Dance Again " and the re-emergence of Gwen Stefani as the voice of No Doubt . With new albums from Shania Twain , [...]

Whitney Houston 's February 18 funeral was an emotional event — and an extremely expensive one. Houston's "home going service" cost the city of Newark, New Jersey approximately $187,000 in costs for police overtime. Nearly 200 officers were stationed at New Baptist Church and the surrounding blocks, keeping barriers between Houston's family and her fans, and New Jersey's residents are the one's paying for it. CBS News talked to several Newark taxpayers who are angered that they're the ones paying for Houston's private funeral service. [...]

Filed under: News , Exclusive EMI Singer-songwriter Emeli Sande may be little-known on this side of the pond, but it won't be for long if her UK rise is anything to go by. Her first album, Our Version of Events, came out in mid-February, debuting at number one, pushing Lana Del Rey off her mantle, wowing Simon Cowell (who declared her his "favorite songwriter at the minute") and selling over 113,000 copies. Kelly Clarkson's tour in support of album Stronger is winding down, but while on stage at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre last night, the vocal powerhouse ensured that she'll definitely be going out with a bang. Kelly sat on a stool and busted out, of all things, a soulful rendition of Britney Spears' 2011 summer jam "Till The World Ends" . "I know you know this song," Clarkson said on stage. "I'm expecting everybody on these 'ohs'." Watch her take on Britney's hit, as well as Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston's Prince Of Egypt [...]
