This new Star Slinger remix of The Morning Benders' track "Cold War" is part of a just released benefit EP put together by the band raise dough to help the relief effort in Japan. 100% of the proceeds from the Benders' "Japan Echo" EP will go toward helping the victims of the recent Japan catastrophes. Wild Nothing and Abe Vigoda closed out their national tour last week by playing the year's third installment of the Natural History Museum's First Fridays series, and there was dancing involved. If the out-and-out giddiness of Wild Nothing's headlining set surprised some fans of Jack Tatum's fuzzy dream-pop, it didn't others, especially female fans who shrieked their approval of the Virginian's every move.
