I actually found out about Shakey Graves and Wild Child at the same time. It was a week before SXSW and I was in Austin for business. I had a big night the night before and I was hungover on the pot at the Omni. There beside me was a magazine spotlighting SXSW. In that magazine were two local acts that really stuck out - Shakey Graves & Wild Child. I was lucky enough to catch both acts during SXSW. Now you'll be lucky enough to catch them together as they are heading on tour together. Shakey Graves [...]

Undeniably one of the most talked about artists out of Austin right now, Shakey Graves has announced his upcoming tour with fellow indie folk artists Wild Child and Marmalakes . I'm getting excited for Wild Child's new record that is being produced by Ben Kweller. The Runaround doesn't have a set release date yet or anything, but the word is that there should be a single out in time for SXSW festivities. I promise we'll be on top of it and underneath it when that comes around. Until then, an old standby, "Pillow Talk" from the likewise named album. Wild Child: Site // Album
