Labrinth rolled through Zane Lowe's Maida Vale studio yesterday and in addition to laying down ace live versions of "Last Time" and "Sweet Riot" dropped this great take on SBTRKT's "Wildfire" jam from last year. The masked man SBTRKT made a moon-lit appearance at the pool of the Mondrian Hotel in LA this past Monday. Lucky attendees were awed by the deep beats that seemed to glide across the water and off into the city skyline. I think the first time I ever heard of post-hardcore outfit La Dispute was in a blogTV. Someone had sent me a song to be reviewed, I played it, and a majority of reactions were pretty negative.
