Continuing with the annoying psychedelic trend that's arrested indie promos as of late, Hercules and Love Affair just released a disappointing attempt at a mind-expanding visual experience for their "Painted Eyes" track. The video consists almost exclusively of vast, crappily rendered trippy landscapes and Vishnu-esque figures swaying around, as if all of this is to beckon us to embrace tye-dye, albeit borne of a darker rainbow than that of usual hippie fare.
