There is a growing underground force of pop labels releasing music on nontraditional formats. Of these formats, two prevalent ones, at least in the lo-fi pop and twee pop arenas, are cassette and the 3-inch single. The Wee Pop! release of Wonder For All's debut self-titled EP is probably the barest album in their entire catalogue and even if it may seem a little undercooked, Wonder For All serves up a refreshingly intimate collection of songs amongst all the danceable and more orchestrated pop as of late. Following on from Colins' review of The Just Joans it's time to sift through some of the other releases on Wee Pop . Wonder For All is a one woman act from New York whose minimal tunes are played on a guitar or a ukulele which seems to be the instrument of choice these days.
