The majority of his previous albums have been acoustic based, melding experimental folk and rock. For this new album, however, he put together a full band, now called the Briarwood Virgins, and made a guitar-driven rock and roll album. Recorded in Alabama, it has a relaxed feel that perfectly complements Toth's vocal drawl.
