Beginning this week, Woodhands will hit the road this fall for a 17-date journey through the United States and Canada with Canadian indie/electronic group, the Junior Boys . So, what's the occasion? I was frightfully surprised by Woodhand's performance. I had enjoyed the album quite a bit, save for the opening track, but I hadn't expected the depth and complexity that came with a Woodhands live performance. They were pure explosions going off at random intervals. What does that mean? Madness, that's what. I spent considerable time with Dan Werb and Paul Banwatt of Woodhands this past weekend at Monolith Music Festival.
