The Oakland pair simply known as WOOM is so enchanting in their pop quirky-ness I feel like hugging them when I listen to Muu's Way . Their songs remind me of a friend of mine who's obssessed with Iceland and sweaters. I don't know why. All it is is Sara on synthesized sounds and main vocals and Eben on guitars. Since the release of WOOM 's debut album Muu's Way back in July, there have been a bunch of remixes that include the works of Greg Saunier of Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, BJ Warshaw (Parts and Labor, Shooting Spires), Lucky Dragons, Talk Normal, Japanther, and Butchy Fuego (Pit er Pat, The Boredoms).
