Eine Zäsur in Sachen Bandbesetzung und Ausrichtung hat sich nicht vorbehaltlos positiv auf den Sound von Wovenhand ausgewirkt. Als treuer Jünger von David Eugene Edwards musste man sich diesen Sommer Aug und Ohren reiben vor den Wovenhand-Bühnen. Der Getriebene hat den Stuhl in die Ecke gestellt und tänzelt nun wie ein junger Spund durch ein regelrechtes Rockspektakel. Als stecke er nicht in der Glaubens-, aber Lebensmitte-Krise. Da gab's nichts zu meckern. Im August gab es ja nun wirklich eine Menge toller neuer Musik. Der September erscheint nicht ganz so spektakulr, aber dennoch gibt es fr den neugieriger Freund anspruchvoller Unterhaltungsmusik wohl eine Menge zu entdecken. Ich freue mich wie Bolle erstens auf demnchst eine Woche Entspannung in Dnemark und die langen Strandspaziergnge um das neue Zeugs zu hren. Wie zum Beispiel "Sing About Me", das Debtalbum der shoegazenden Post-Rocker aus Finnland. Oder auf "The Laughing Stalk", die dstere Welt von Wovenhand. Auch die Post-Rocker Caspian scheinen mir auf dem Album "Waking Season" alles richtig gemacht zu [...]
