Two years ago some "angels" came along silently and saved WOXY to make it an internet radio station for the past two years, this go round has been different though. Well, the DJs at WOXY are really what made it independent radio. It wasnt just a set playlist with electronic shuffling here and there, it was human personalities playing the good stuff. One of our favorite bands released a great album yesterday if you somehow missed it. We told you awhile back about "All This Time" , the sophomore release from Cincinnati band, Heartless Bastards. Ive been listening religiously since and its made its way into my top albums of the year list at this point. Certainly worth your attention. Theory 8 Records in Nashville has already hit us up with Apollo Up this year and now plans to rock us a bit more with the newest release from Forget Cassettes . This female fronted three piece outfit, which also sports a member from Apollo Up has a drum kit thump behind most of what they do.
