Raekwon clicks with QB's Mobb Depp, from his Unexpected Victory mixtape, dropping very soon. via NahRight Wu-Tang Epic Jan. 7th Raekwon ft. Mobb Deep- "Chinese Marines" -mp3

RZA just added more smoke to the fire that is the possibility of a new Wu-Tang album in 2012. Ghostface and Raekwon recently alluded to the very same thing with Tony Stark going as far as uttering a possible release month of May. Here's Bobby Digital's proverbial gasoline on the Wu-Tang fire: "Me and Ghostface talk about it a lot," he said . "The other members are talking about it. We'll see what life brings — let's put it that way. To have an official Wu-Tang Clan album with everybody coming together, it's never an easy [...]

This is the cover art for Raekwon's upcoming mixtape Unexpected Victory which drops on Christmas Day and here are some quotes from an interview RZA did with Hip Hop DX. I figured I could lop Tang-related news together, right? The Man with the Iron Fists , is RZA's directorial debut and he's having a tough time translating his visions on to the big screen in his first time running things behind the camera. "So far, it's been my hardest job. I thought the Wu-Tang [...]
Before I go home to the Midlands and get mocked for being a vegetarian, teach my cousins how to vodka-tampon and sob into my teenage bed because my Dad threw away my old diaries - I thought I'd patronise you with some HAWT TIP OFFS for 2012. I'm going to make this really brief and then record an extended video entry on NYE when I'm 2 bottles of Archers down (and i wonder why my tooth fell out this week) rambling about how slutty-cooking is the new dubstep, and how Maxwell D and me nearly got it owwwnnn thanks to Twitter and the #garagememories [...]

![GZA Lecture @ Harvard [Audio]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3908053_lg.jpg)
My homie and Crypt keeper himself Vega was in the audience for last Thursday's lecture by the Genius at Harvard and recorded this 3-part audio track of GZA's talk. He gives a basic autobiography of his beginnings in hip-hop, breaking through with Wu-Tang after his stint at Cold Chillin' and general thoughts about music and his approach. Big shouts to Vega for getting this historic one-of-one lecture on tape. The GZA has been in Boston the past [...]

Madlib aka Otis Jackson is one of the most prolific producers in hip hop. The Oxnard, CA native has done it all. He's so well respected by musical peers, that the Blue Note record label gave him the individual recordings and stems of their legendary vault of music just for him to create his remix album, Shades of Blue. It's amazing. Not to mention he collaborated with one of the best hip hop producers to ever touch an MPC, J Dilla. Dig some of his music below, old and new. EZ - Blu - [...]

New, free EP from the Wu-Tang's very own master chef, Raekwon. It features Andrew Kelly on production, and has been sitting on his hard drive for a while now, which is what I'm reading on his Tumblr . So, I guess this EP is the leftovers from the project that never got finished. Still, I'm liking it more than Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang . Download the EP right here .

Raekwon recently opened the offices of Ice H20, his new Toronto label, with supreme optimism. He spoke with the Toronto Sun about the untapped talent pool in Canada, his next album and Wu-Tang's plans for their 20th anniversary. Here's the copy of his very optimistic thoughts on Canada's talent: "What brought me here is because of the fact the city is so rich and filled with talent that's being overlooked." "Alright you got Drake who made it but there's still more people here. And if you really look at the table chart [...]

A music video for a track from California MC Blu's forthcoming album, NoYork! . The LP leaked toward the end of the summer, but it's still yet to receive an official release. I guess that doesn't matter since you can find it just about anywhere on the net , though.

Rappers and producers Has-Lo , Curly Castro , and Zilla Rocca have been working together as The Wrecking Crew on a homage to Wu-Tang Clan called Wu-Tang Pulp . Below, download the new song, "Scallops" a reworking of the classic rap track "Fish" originally on Ghostface Killah's Ironman album. Download "Scallops" then compare it to "Fish." Grab more songs from The Wrecking Crew's Wu-Tang Pulp project here . Zilla Rocca x Curly Castro [...]

Wrecking Crew (Zilla Rocca, Curly Castro & Has-Lo) leak a new track "Scallop" produced by Y?Arcka and presented by Wu-Tang Pulp. If you missed "The Boxcutter Went", check it out below... Has-Lo x Zilla Rocca x Curly Castro x Elucid -The Boxcutter Went (prod by Zilla Rocca)

Check his history: Zilla Rocca's been a beast. In just 16 bars, no other rapper could seamlessly namedrop the futility of the Seattle Pilots, Neruda, Hemingway's love of daiquiris, Medellin, Omega 32s, chicken nuggets, and Southern Comfort while flipping the beat to Tony Stark's "Fish." When the Wrecking Crew co-founder first floated the idea of a Wu-Tang Pulp project , I thought it was totally superfluous. Vintage Wu-Tang songs can't be improved, but what Zilla knew and I didn't, is that they're the perfect jump-off - spring boards for creativity that manifest in "Scallops," the [...]
