Rob Swift's "Roc for Raida" mixtape is dedicated to the memory of X-Ecutioner Roc Raida (May 17, 1972 - Sept. 19, 2009). The mixtape highlights much of the great music Raida left behind when he passed away. Rob Swift also features the X's Mista Sinista, Total Eclipse and Precision performing their own renditions of some of Roc Raida's classic battle sets. Fox Home Entertainment has released the DVD and Blu-ray of X-Men: First Class today. Marvel really had a great summer with three fantastic superhero films: X-Men: First Class, Thor and Captain America; all are worth owning. Remember in X-Men: First Class when Charles Xavier and Eric Lehnsherr go to the strip club to recruit Angel and they want to get her to reveal how her dragonfly tattoos actually emerge from her body to form real wings? It was a great scene built on the chemistry of actors James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Following a fantastic fan response earlier this summer, X-Men: First Class is headed to DVD and Blu-ray on September 9th (a special Friday release). Available with either a Professor Xavier (James McAvoy) or Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) cover, the set includes a digital copy along with hours of special features, ten X-Men digital comics (including a never-before-seen backstory comic) and a "Cerebro Mutant Tracker", which includes an interactive video database of all mutants featured in the X-Men films.

The X-Men comic book franchise started in 1964 as a daring parable: gifted individuals (more engaging/descriptive word?) persecuted for being born "differently" than the rest of the world. These "mutants" had two divergent leaders in Professor X, the MLK stand-in who believed humans and mutants could live together in harmony and Magneto, the Malcolm X radical who wanted mutants to rule over their inferior human counterparts.
