This past Friday, XV's Midwest State Of Mind tour made it's way to Schuba's for a sold out show featuring G-Scott of Freddie Gibbs' Str8 Slammin' family. First time I listened to this I got so hyped. See, I had some sort of a brain fart and thought that XV, Wiz Khalifa & Figure got together to make a legit dubstep // hip hop collab (overlooked the "remix"). Well, even though this is just a remix, it's a damn good one at that. Sill not topping my favorite Khalifa remix , but I'd love to see Khalifa & XV go in the dubstep direction. XV ft. Holy heavy remix Batman! The original "Gobstopper" wasn't really that great of a track, but, it BEGGED for a heavy dub remix. Well, lucky for us, Figure just delivered that remix, and delivered it in an epic fashion. Take a listen and judge for yourself.
