Yeah that's right you read that SEO title right, the song you have invested into learning more about has 11 rappers on one track (including unlisted HS87 artists). When Hit-Boy puts together a posse cut I mean HE PUTS TOGETHER A POSSE CUT. For his upcoming label compilation album, the producer/rapper is pushing limits both instrumentally and lyrically. Today we get a sneak peak off the upcoming album with a song Hit-Boy has rightfully titled Cypher. I don't think there's too people in the game right now that have the balls [...]

Hit-Boy definitely had to call in a few favors to make this one possible. "Cypher" is a jam-packed collaboration between the past, present, and future of hip-hop. Just take a look at some of the names here. Along with HS87 crew members like Kent M$ney , Audio Push , and B Mac The Queen , we also have a slew of other talented emcees like ScHoolboy Q , Casey Veggies , Xzibit , Rick Ross , Method Mad , Redman , and Raekwon [...]
Cypher - Hits Since 87, Inc Featuring Hit-Boy, Kent M$NEY, Audio Push, B Mac The Queen, SchoolBoy Q, Casey Veggies, Xzibit, Rick Ross, Method Man, Red Man & Reakwon.

Super-producer Hit-Boy ("Niggas In Paris," "Clique") continues his foray into the world of rapping with a heavily stacked posse cut called "Cypher." Following swiftly on from the intriguing news that he'll feature on a track with Haim on Kid Cudi's new album, Hit-Boy has pulled together an impressive cast of heavy-hitters for this one (see the artwork above for the full list, in order of appearance), with highlights including Schoolboy Q sounding typically unhinged and Raekwon casually outshining everyone. "Cypher" will feature on All I've Ever Dreamed Of , a compilation [...]

The title of this post does this track no justice, it should read -Legendary Artists- but I just didn't have the balls to do it So here is the list of features; Kent M$NEY, Audio Push, B Mac The Queen, SchoolBoy Q, Casey Veggies, Xzibit, Rick Ross, Method Man, Red Man & Reakwon. Check it for yourself and decide if it lives up to the legendary status.
Nothing complex at all here but this cypher's worth posting due to its cast of hip-hop artists. With thanks going out to Hit-Boy, a whole [...]

According to the Forbes Rich List for 2012 , Dr. Dre topped the charts as the highest earning musician with an income of $110 million last year. The rapper and music producer, who trumped Pink Floyd star Roger Walters and Elton John to reach top billing, owes the financial accolade largely to the success of his Beats by DRE headphones range, which accounted for a large chunk of his annual paycheck. Dr. Dre’s hi-tech headphones, with their iconic ‘b’ logo, have become an A-list accessory, with celebrities like Eminen, Snoop Dogg, Katie Holmes, Didier Drogba and Wayne Rooney [...]

Xzibit - Napalm Open Bar Entertainment: 2012 First off let me apologize to Andrew for getting this in a week late. The past 168 hours—at the time of writing this—were cannibalized by work, the woman, and of course Kendrick (and to a lesser extent Bodega Bamz’ tape). Secondly, let’s get straight to the point; Mr. X-to-the-Z’s seventh studio album Napalm (and first in six years) is surprisingly good. In the late '90s, Xzibit was one of the most promising rappers to emerge out of the West Coast underground scene that was [...]

Long-time West Coaster Xzibit's new full-length release Napalm dropped this week, conveniently a midst his killer B ET cypher during which I reflected upon how awesome the dude has always been. Buy Napalm here , and check out this featured single including some familiar names and highlighting feel-good production from David Banner.

Max Bell finds the revulsion invigorating. Another year. Another BET awards. Another round of ciphers. I give you my thoughts off the top of the dome. But really though, off the top of the dome. Seriously, I didn't write this, look at it, think about it, and then try to make it sound better or clever. Can you imagine how terrible it would be if I did? Exactly. "Grand Hustle" Trae [...]
Does anyone know whether 2 Chainz or Drake won that award? What award? It could be any of them, so it doesn’t really matter, does it? The truth is no [...] The post Watch: The 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards Cyphers appeared first on The Smoking Section .

He's back-and he's not putting jaccuzis in hippi vans or ping pong tables on top of pink and blue painted truck beds. Xzibit has returned to spittin hot bars with an assortment of features on his track Enjoy The Night . The song can be found on the "Pimp My Ride" host's newly released album "Napalm" and brings rappers Wiz Khalifa, David Banner, and Brevi on the track to soup that instrumental bitch up and put like 17 flat screens in the back seats. DAYUMMM!!! But seriously, "Pimp My Ride" was my favorite [...]

Well, I think it's time for me to admit that I was wrong . I'm not going to be completely disappointed by the cyphers at the 2012 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which take place Oct. 9. From what I can see by the full lineup of rappers, we should have something pretty entertaining watch and you can expect a full report by us after they air. It might have been a tad disappointing on paper , but now that a teaser has popped up of the west coast BET Cypher, we couldn't be more excited. Set to feature Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, YG, Kurupt, DJ Quik, Xzibit and E-40, there is no doubt this is going to be entertaining. Yeah, I know you are all excited the most for Kendrick, but E-40 is a damn legend and I can't wait to see him rip up the mic. Watch a sneak peak below. The full cypher is going to drop Oct. 9.
