It was a good week in music, September 14-19, was. On Friday, beautiful sounds emanated from my Weezer Cruise buddies The Antlers (who managed to beat out the shitty system at VENUE with beautiful songs and an epic "Putting the Dog to Sleep"), joined by 80s throwbacks and openers Class Actress. On Tuesday night Gregory Alan Isakov and Jeffrey Foucault  are at Triple Door, and on Wednesday night you can choose between Grass Widow and Plaided  at Chop Suey or The White Buffalo with Shelby Earl  at the Crocodile.
