It's been a while, but Depeche Mode 's Martin L Gore and Erasure 's Vince Clarke got back in the studio this year for the first time since the Mode's 1981 debut album Speak & Spell . I am even inclined to agree with those who suggest the song is quite awful, especially in its excess of autotuning. It sounds like the theme song for a particularly hyperactive Japanese game show. Wish I had more to post here but this is it. Moullinex dropped this original a few days ago, and it just shows that the man (Luis Clara Gomes) is going from strength to strength. Tear Club clearly demonstrates Gomes' versatility, with its Marimba baseline and Clarinet bridge, this track is a far cry from the depths of a dirty techno club.
