Yellowcard have announced they will be releasing an acoustic version of their 2003 breakthrough album, Ocean Avenue , aptly titled Ocean Avenue Acoustic , later this year. Rise Against, Yellowcard, Billy Talent, Real Friends, Capture The Crown, Crossfaith and Itch are the first seven acts to be confirmed to play the UK installment of the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. The event takes place at Alexandra Palace in London on November 16-17.

In a situation that sounds both painful and gross, Yellowcard frontman Ryan Key suffered a vocal chord hemorrhage due to the strain of the band's most recent tour dates . Key explained via his Twitter : [We] tried to do some recording today. Turns out singing through all the illness on the last tour caused my vocal chord to hemorrhage and swell. So it's vocal rest for me for a while - doctor's orders. So bummed. Could be worse though. He says its healing, just needs some time off. [...]

Yellowcard and Ed Sheeran are amongst the few who have been confirmed to play the 2013 SunFest in West Palm Beach, FL. Yellowcard will release new single ‘ Awakening ’ to coincide with a run of headline dates in the UK.
