Young Buffalo are back with a new tune, "Nature Boy." Sean has declared his love for the Mississippi duo here a number of times, but it was only after we caught them at SXSW this year that we all fell in love with their gritty, pop-savvy indie rock. Young Buffalo take a page out of Vampire Weekend's book on "Nature Boy," mixing in afro-pop keys along with the usual fuzzy guitars and killer harmonies. As we filed in to catch Mississippi-based Young Buffalo at an Austin shot bar, the gentleman next to me leaned over to divulge his excitement about the set.
