Late last year Zola Jesus released her warmly received LP Conatus but since the release of the album we've not really seen many remixes of it appear online. Pitchfork now points towards a break in that trend and the reason for the change of heart is the talented David Lynch . He's remixed her Conatus featured track "In Your Nature" and the results can be enjoyed below. Worth the wait on the remix front or do you think Zola was right to leave her work untouched?

It seems David Lynch's foray into music is nowhere near completion yet. The famed film producer was given the opportunity to remix a track from Zola Jesus' most recent album, Conatus , and he hand picked "In Your Nature." Calling it a remix is not exactly accurate though, since Lynch has gone above and beyond the scope of a regular remix. Lynch completely deconstructed the song and then pieced it back together, along with some additional parts recorded by himself and Dean Hurley. You can hear the results below. [...]
