Week two of the weekly music wrap that brings together the news that goes on around Australia (more so Brisbane) and the world, that you might not have heard. Some may be relevant for you, some may not, however hopefully this will be a nice little synopsis! Fortitude Valley's, 'Nine Lives Gallery' is having a fundraiser at The Zoo, Thursday July 14. Falls Festival has once again gearing up to feature a stellar lineup with the announcement of a few bands today. Playing at both Lorne, Melbourne and Marion Bay, Tasmania will be Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes, Tim Finn and The Jezabels. Arctic Monkeys and Fleet Foxes have just released their respective albums during the year and The Jezabels play for their second year in a row! Joshua Radin, purveyor of soundtrack music, held the last leg of his Australian tour at The Zoo on Saturday night, with a rambling, joyous set. Mixing a mostly whimsical acoustic set with a surprisingly hard detour in the middle (or as hard as Radin can get. Having played their Cerebral Ballzy Tour throughout the UK and a set of gigs at The Great Escape Festival they're a gaining massive support internationally.
