MI Fest will take place @ Michigan International Speedway(Brooklyn MI) on September 17th. Headlining the festival will be the lovely Sheryl Crow and The Raconteurs. MI Fest tickets are available at an "early bird" price of $59 until Friday. The general sale begins on Saturday with tickets priced at $79. Children 12 and under are free if accompanied by a ticketed adult. Gates will open at noon, with the first show starting at 1 p.m. and the last show wrapping up at 11 p.m.

From the GR Water Festival Press Release: A diverse array of folk, pop, and acoustic musicians will converge on the Kent County Fairgrounds in Lowell on June 25 and 26 in support of water resources in the Grand River Watershed and Great Lakes. In addition to these performances, the 2011 Grand River Water Festival will also engage attendees in taking direct action to protect our water resources, such as documentary films, speakers, workshops and petitions.
