Here's a track I stumbled across over at Don't Die Wondering . Formed in 2011 in the U.K, Prairies are a London/Nottingham musical alliance with influences based far and wide, from commercial hip-hop to balaeric pop to Swedish indie music. Prairies blend together elements of indie pop, tropical, surf and hip-hop to form a style of music known as “trop-pop”. As of writing this I am relatively unaware of Gold'n. Sometimes that's a bad thing but from time to time the mysterious nature of a musicians' persona can add a delightful aura and spark to ones music. Based in the UK Gold'n produce sensual and indulgent compositions that glisten and form an orchestrated blend of soft indie pop and electronica (with a hint of R&B for good measure).
