Lisenting to Sweet Baboo's most recent and fourth album, Ships , makes me want to go skipping down the sidewalk while the bees buzz, the birds chirp, and the flowers blossom. It sounds like spring. Wilsen certainly seems like a perfect match as an opener on Daughter's current US tour. While they aren't any happier than Daughter, there's a buoyancy to their songs, where as Daughter's songs can leave you feeling as though you've drowned. Cheating is no good. Songs about cheating on the other hand, have a habit of being super catchy. This one is no exception. 2012 didn't bring the accolades to Poliça that their fans thought Give You the Ghost deserved. It's an album I shrugged off at first and little by little I became attached to their songs until I finally bought their album and eventually saw them live. Now, months later I still find myself going back to that album on a regular basis. Now we've got a new song to lust after.
Robert Dale started a solo project under the name Belgian Fog and currently has this one song to his name. Something about it keeps me coming back.
