M83 'Midnight City' audio (HQ)
This top Youtube comment sums it up nicely: "everytime i listen to this song, i cut my penis into tiny pieces and throw them in the air like confetti. then i travel to another dimension and eat a lobster roll with god. then i'm having sex with heidi klum while covered in hot fudge. pretty good tune."

Song of the Day: Radiohead- "15 Step"

Radiohead playing 15 Step @ The Grammys
Monday, Wednesday and Fridays we will bring you a new song of the day. Anything from oldies, rock, indie, rap/hiphop, or even country. For the first ever "Song of the Day" we'll start things off with this awesome Radiohead jam, from In Rainbows, "15 Step". As it turns out this song was in one of those Twilight movies. Pretty cool, huh? Oh, just kidding, we'll never put up a country song. Here is a live, horrible quality, version from the Grammy's. Only [...]

This is, 20 Something Awesome.

You get it? You know, because we are "20 Somethings" and also Awesome and there are times when Somethings are Awesome. This will be home to a couple (more?) "20 Somethings" who find these things interesting, funny, mind-blowing, informative, or just wicked awesome. Including but not limited to music, movies, sports, pictures, employment (or lack there of), and lifestyle (such as living with ones parents). It will mostly be under construction for the next couple of weeks but we hope to get things started soon with posts by this weekend.

Dr. Dre- "KUSH (ft. Snoop Dogg, Akon)" [Music Video]

Dr. Dre - Kush ft. Snoop Dogg, Akon
My colleague didn't have the nicest words to say about "KUSH" when we linked to the song release, but I am really enjoying this joint. Get it? If not, you probably don't smoke "KUSH, till you're mind blown". This is a very good smoking song that will most likely make its way to the radio and clubs, with many remixes to come in the next few months. Any one else getting a little turned on by Snoop's pigtails? Just me? Alrighty then.

Music Video Monday: Kings of Leon- "Pyro"

Kings Of Leon - Pyro
Well here is a song. Here is also a video. This video has some music in it. Some would call it a music video. They call it that because music is playing while the video is happening. Usually the two are somehow cohesive and "make sense" together. Sometimes they might be exciting, boring, intense, moving or a waste of time. I really have nothing good to say about this music video and didn't want only one sentence here. Enjoy? Kings of Leon-Pyro

Gorillaz- "Welcome To The World Of The Plastic Beach" [Music Video]

Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach
I in no way dislike this song but why, out of all the awesome songs on Plastic Beach, would this one have the honor of becoming a music video? It is hilariously horrible. Snoop standing there, doing his weird little dance in that awesome getup. I laughed through the whole video but it is still dry and boring. Be sure to read our glowing review of Plastic Beach.

New Bright Eyes album Announced, The People's Key [Music News]

Bright Eyes has plans to release a new album, The People's Key early next year. February 15th, 2011 is the offical date but we will most likely get some teasers before that date. Although this will be Bright Eyes first album in four years that doesn't mean their front man, Conor Oberst hasn't been busy with his other acts, most notably Conor Oberst and the Mystic Vally Band . Here is the track listing taken from Bright Eyes' lacking website : 1 Firewall 2 Shell Games 3 Jejune Stars 4 [...]

Music Video Monday: Four Year Strong – "Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday)"

Four Year Strong - Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday)
Well this video is probably considered old by now, but I recently saw it for the first time and found it pretty cool. This is a revolutionary war inspired video for a song called "Tonight We Feel Alive (On A Saturday)," performed by a band called Four Year Strong. The song is kind of just background music for this action packed video.

Music Video Monday: Klaxons- "Twin Flames" [NSFW]

There are only three words that can describe this video for "Twin Flames" by Klaxons: Weirdest. Orgy. Ever.

Music Video Monday: Michael Franti & Spearhead- "Hey Hey Hey"

Here is a feel good about life song and video from Michael Franti & Spearhead. "Hey Hey Hey" reminds us that life is now and no matter how bad it gets, like the wrong person winning the Biggest Loser or any of those shitty Vh1 "reality" shows, you have to "hold on".

Music Video Monday: Sufjan Stevens- "Too Much"

Epileptics, do not pass Go, do not collect $200. Please, return where you came from. This is Sufjan Steven's video for "Too Much" off of his new album, Age of Adz. This video is very random and features more stop motion animation then The Nightmare Before Christmas. Well maybe not that much, but still it gets annoying. "Too Much" is a pretty average Sufjan song, off an extraordinary Sufjan album. I highly recommend checking out The Age of Adz , and who knows, maybe one day we'll get off our lazy bums and review it.

Music Video Monday: Arcade Fire- "The Suburbs"

Arcade Fire - The Suburbs | A video by Spike Jonze
From that summer indie album smash hit, The Suburbs , comes the video from the opening track, "The Suburbs". If you couldn't already guess, this video takes place in the suburbs, with suburban kids, doing suburban things. It is also by THE Spike Jonzzzzzzzzzzzzze, so you know it's good. I feel sorry for these kids, I'm glad I didn't grow up in the suburbs...oh, wait.
